International Forum “Eurasian Educational Dialogue” will be held in Yaroslavl

On March 2-3, the international forum “Eurasian Educational Dialogue” will be held in Yaroslavl. More than a thousand participants from different countries, including Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Mongolia and Côte d’Ivoire will meet at the site of the Concert and Entertainment Center.

The international forum “Eurasian Educational Dialogue” has been held since 2013. This time the theme of the event will be “The Russian Pedagogical School of K. D. Ushinsky – the National Treasure of Russia”. It will be timed to coincide with the Year of the Teacher and Mentor declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The forum will be opened by the performance of the student theater of the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University “Key”: “K. D. Ushinsky: “The appointment of a person.” As part of the plenary and breakout sessions, a series of conferences and a project session, speakers and participants, including heads of executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that carry out public administration in the field of education, as well as experts in the field of educational policy, managers and teachers of educational organizations, will consider relevant issues of development of education in Russia and activation of international cooperation.

At the breakout sessions, post-graduate support for novice teachers, promising areas of psychological and pedagogical research and other problems and issues related to the field of pedagogy were discussed in detail.

Recall that on February 20, the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov celebrated the 200th anniversary of the birth of the founder of scientific pedagogy and the creator of the Russian national school Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky (1823–1871). The event was attended by Rector of Moscow University, Academician V. A. Sadovnichiy, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education E. L. Vartanova, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education Yu. P. Zinchenko, students and teachers of Moscow University. Viktor Antonovich noted the special relevance of Ushinsky’s pedagogical theory and called on the audience to take part in an international congress dedicated to the work of the scientist. The Congress is scheduled to take place in November 2023.
